Shampoo stage in every Fast Lane wash

Shampoo covers the car and loosens the dirt.

What this stage does

Every wash starts the body with shampoo. In a touchless wash nothing scrubs the paint, so the soap has to do the job a brush would do somewhere else: it softens road film, dust and grime so the high-pressure water can carry it off.

Most everyday dirt comes off this way. Bugs that have baked on for a week, tar spots and hardened tree sap can survive a single wash and may need a second pass or a hand treatment.

When it matters: Every wash. It’s in all three packages.
